We have a great tour planned for the companions on the Monday. It will commence with a breakfast followed by a bus trip to the Lake Louise area travelling along the Bow Valley Parkway. The scenery along the way is incredible and a stop will be made at Moraine Lake. Lake Louise itself is a crystal clear glacial lake located in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, one of the most spectacular settings in the Canadian Rockies. Situated in a hanging valley, Mt Victoria and Victoria Glacier provide a perfect backdrop for the startling blue-green waters. This not to be missed tour will include some time to visit the Fairmont Lake Louise Hotel which has much history and yes, some great shops. The companions will then be treated to a delicious lunch at the historic Lake Louise Railway Station & Restaurant before returning to Banff along the Trans Canada Highway.

Western Theme - Reception, Dinner and Entertainment. We have booked Brewster's MountView BBQ to host the offsite function this year. It is located a short 10 minute shuttle ride from the hotel. It is owned by the Brewster Family, one of the early entrepreneurs in the area and the venue is called the “doughnut”. It is a round structure resembling a wagon wheel inside with a hole in the center to accommodate a huge fireplace. We will have live western music and a roast beef dinner to capture the flavour of the West. We may even have a line dance so bring your boots and jeans.
